Project

Arch. Paolo Cornacchini, Arch. Sara De Boni

The project involved the renovation and construction of a connection between the ground floor and the second floor of the villa with a new and scenic circular staircase that rises inside the pre-existing tower, the project provided for the extension of the second floor transforming the loggia into a glazed bathroom that faces the forest of ancient oaks.

The sinuous internal staircase, covered in pietra serena is completed by the wrought iron railing. Always in iron were the frames of the articulated openings skillfully made. The new upper windows of the tower have an arch shape to harmonize with those below in order to configure a homogeneous architectural body and have a larger size to recall the original loggia function and to allow the owners to enjoy a wide view on the adjacent forest.
